Liszt Two Legends
Schubert Sonata in A (D 959)
Chiao-Ying Chang hasn't visited us for a number of years, and so makes a welcome return to perform Liszt's Two Legends (St Francis of Assisi Preaching to the Birds, and St Francis of Paule Walking on the Waves), both graceful and elegant, and one of Schubert's last three Sonatas, all of them large, grand, and unforgettable.
